Slow Food is an international organization, and one branch of it is in the form of an extracurricular club situated in the heart of Iowa City West High School. The organization aims to redirect focus to local, sustainable and homecooked foods rather than preprocessed meals received from far away lands. The organization also works to preserve family recipes.
